CONSTRUCTION METHODOLOGY : EXTERIOR WATERPROOFING & REPAINTING WORKS
- Surface Preparation to include scraping and cleaning of interior surfaces of dirt, grime, fungus, cement laitance and other contaminants. Grinding of wavy or uneven surface should be done by General Contractor or specialty masonry sub-contractor if dents or bulges are more than +/- 2mm per 3.0 meter span.
- Application of one (1) coat Macnell water-based Elastomeric Primer (White or Approved Color).
- Spot putty application on exterior concrete surfaces to hide dents, honeycombs and uneven surfaces. For open joints and hairline cracks with gaps not greater than 2mm width, use Macnell Acrepatch putty. Sanding smooth of puttied areas.
- Application of one (1) coat 1st topcoat using Macnell water-based Elastomeric Coating (Approved Color)
- Application of one (1) coat 2nd and final topcoat using Macnell water-based Elastomeric Coating ( Approved Color)
- Clearing, cleaning and demobilization
